Acceptance of terms.

These Terms of Use ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Vianney ("we", "us", "our", or "Developer") regarding your use of the Revive mobile application ("App").

Description of service.

Revive is a faith-based mobile application designed to help Christians overcome lust and walk in freedom. It provides:

• Biblical companions who walk alongside you in your daily journey
• Daily check-ins with mood tracking, gratitude, and reflection prompts
• Streak tracking to celebrate each day of freedom
• Faith-based onboarding personalised to your spiritual background
• Customisable daily reminders and notifications
• Premium features available through subscription

Eligibility.

You must be at least 17 years of age to use this App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

If you are under 18, you represent that you have obtained parental or guardian consent to use this App.

License grant & restrictions.

4.1 License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App on devices you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use.

4.2 Restrictions

You agree NOT to:

• Modify, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or create derivative works of the App
• Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices from the App
• Use the App for any illegal, harmful, or unauthorised purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the App or its systems
• Use automated scripts, bots, or similar tools to access the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality or servers
• Reproduce, distribute, publicly display, or create derivative works from the App
• Sell, rent, lease, sublicense, or transfer your rights to use the App
• Use the App to harm minors in any way
• Impersonate any person or entity or falsely state your affiliation
• Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other malicious code
• Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights

User accounts & data.

5.1 Account creation

The App uses RevenueCat to manage subscriptions. No email address or password is required. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

5.2 User data

Your check-ins, streak progress, and journal entries are stored locally on your device only. We cannot read them. By using the App, you grant us a license to store and process your onboarding data as described in our Privacy Policy.

5.3 Accuracy of information

You agree to provide truthful information during onboarding. Your responses personalise your experience and help your biblical companions walk with you more meaningfully.

Premium subscriptions.

6.1 Subscription terms

Certain features require a paid subscription ("Premium Features"). Subscriptions are processed through Apple's App Store or Google Play Store and are subject to their respective terms.

6.2 Changes to pricing

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing at any time. For existing subscribers, we will provide at least 30 days' notice before any price increase takes effect. Price changes will not apply to your current subscription period.

Intellectual property.

7.1 Ownership

The App — including all content, features, design, graphics, biblical companion illustrations, and underlying technology — is owned by the Developer and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7.2 Third-party content

Bible verses and scripture references used in the App are drawn from public domain translations. We respect intellectual property rights and expect users to do the same.

7.3 User-generated content

You retain full ownership of any journal entries or personal notes you create. This content is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to or accessed by us.

7.4 Trademarks

"Revive" and associated logos are trademarks of the Developer. You may not use these trademarks without prior written permission.

Faith & spiritual disclaimer.

8.1 Not a substitute for professional support

THE APP IS NOT INTENDED TO PROVIDE MEDICAL, MENTAL HEALTH, OR THERAPEUTIC ADVICE. Revive is a faith-based accountability tool. The reflections, companions, and content provided are for spiritual encouragement and personal growth only.

8.2 Emergency situations

If you or someone you know is experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact emergency services immediately. Revive is not designed for crisis intervention.

Disclaimer of warranties.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement
• Warranties regarding accuracy, reliability, or completeness of content
• Warranties that the App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• Warranties regarding the results obtained from using the App

Limitation of liability.

10.1 EU consumer notice

For EU Consumers: Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws.

10.2 Exclusion of damages

Subject to Section 10.1, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

10.3 Maximum liability

Subject to Section 10.1, our total liability for all claims relating to these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred euros (€100.00).

Third-party services.

The App integrates with trusted third-party services including RevenueCat, Supabase, Sentry, PostHog, Firebase, and Tenjin. We are not responsible for:

• The availability, accuracy, or content of third-party services
• Third-party privacy practices or terms of service
• Any damages or losses caused by third-party services

Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. See our Privacy Policy for the full list.

Modifications to app & terms.

12.1 Changes to the app

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the App.

12.2 Changes to terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top indicates when they were last revised. Material changes will be notified through the App.

Termination.

13.1 Termination by you

You may stop using the App and delete it from your devices at any time. Deleting the App does not automatically cancel paid subscriptions — you must cancel through your App Store or Play Store account settings.

13.2 Termination by us

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.

13.3 Effect of termination

• All licenses granted to you will immediately terminate
• You must cease all use of the App and delete it from your devices
• Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability

Geographic availability.

The App is controlled and operated from France and is primarily intended for users in the European Union. We make no representation that the App is appropriate or available for use in all locations.

Access to the App from territories where its content is illegal is prohibited. Users outside the European Union access the App at their own risk and are responsible for compliance with local laws.

Accessibility.

We strive to make the App accessible to all users. If you experience any difficulty accessing any part of the App, please contact us and we will work with you to provide the information or service you seek through an alternative communication method.

Feedback.

We welcome feedback, comments, and suggestions for improvements to the App ("Feedback"). You acknowledge that if you submit Feedback, we may use it without restriction or compensation to you, and you hereby grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to incorporate such Feedback into our products and services.
