Revive is a faith-based sobriety app designed to help Christians overcome lust and build a deeper relationship with God. We collect only what is strictly necessary to personalise your experience and improve the app.

We do not sell your data. We do not share identifiable personal information with third parties beyond what is described in this policy.

Information we collect.

• Crash & performance data: technical error logs — collected via Sentry
• Purchase information: subscription data processed by RevenueCat and Apple/Google

How we use it.

• To personalise your onboarding, companions, and home screen experience
• To manage your subscription and restore purchases across devices
• To understand how users interact with the app and improve it
• To measure the effectiveness of our App Store campaigns (attribution)
• To send optional push notifications for daily reminders (can be disabled at any time)
• To identify and fix technical issues and crashes

Third-party services.

We use the following trusted services. Each processes only the minimum data necessary for its function.

Data retention & security.

Retention

• Onboarding data: retained as long as you use the app. Request deletion at any time.
• Analytics data: retained per third-party provider policies, typically 90 days to 2 years.
• Local data: stored on your device until you uninstall the app or clear app data.

Security

• Encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for all data in transit
• Secure storage for data on our servers
• Regular security assessments and dependency updates
• Limited access to personal data by authorised personnel only

No method of electronic transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we implement every reasonable measure to protect your data.

Sensitive information.

Revive collects information that may be considered sensitive — including your religious denomination, personal struggles with lust, and spiritual profile. This information is used solely to personalise your experience.

Push notifications.

Revive can send you daily reminders and encouragements via push notifications. These notifications are:

• Completely optional — you choose whether to enable them during onboarding
• Scheduled locally on your device based on your preferences
• Not used to send marketing messages or advertisements
• Disableable at any time in Settings → Notifications or in your device settings

Children's privacy.

Revive is intended for users aged 17 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 17 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction).

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with information, please contact us immediately and we will delete it promptly.

European users (GDPR).

As this app is available in the European Union, we comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). As an EU resident, you have the following rights:

Data Protection Authority

For GDPR requests, please include "GDPR Request" in your email subject and specify which right you wish to exercise. We will respond within one month as required by law.

Your rights.

• Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Correction — request that inaccurate data be corrected
• Deletion — request that we delete your data
• Portability — receive your data in a structured, portable format
• Opt-out of analytics — disable PostHog tracking in Settings
• Opt-out of notifications — disable at any time in Settings
• Withdraw consent — withdraw at any time without affecting prior processing

Changes to this policy.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy in the app, updating the "Last Updated" date, and sending a notification if required by law.

Your continued use of the app after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
