Revive is a faith-based sobriety app designed to help Christians overcome lust and build a deeper relationship with God. We collect only what is strictly necessary to personalise your experience and improve the app.
Your check-ins, journal entries, streak count, and daily reflections are stored locally on your device only. We cannot read them. Nobody can.
We do not sell your data. We do not share identifiable personal information with third parties beyond what is described in this policy.
When you complete the onboarding process, we collect:
Basic profile
First name and age range — used to personalise your in-app experience.
Faith profile
Denomination, spiritual maturity, and relationship with God you describe.
Struggle profile
Triggers, frequency, coping methods — stored anonymously to personalise guidance.
Subscription status
Whether you are on a free or premium plan, managed via RevenueCat.
The following is never transmitted to our servers: daily streak, journal entries, check-in responses, ring progress, past reflections.
We never use your data for advertising, profiling, or selling to third parties.
We use the following trusted services. Each processes only the minimum data necessary for its function.
No method of electronic transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we implement every reasonable measure to protect your data.
Revive collects information that may be considered sensitive — including your religious denomination, personal struggles with lust, and spiritual profile. This information is used solely to personalise your experience.
It is stored anonymously, never shared, never sold, and never used for advertising. We treat your spiritual journey with the same dignity and confidentiality you would expect from a pastor or counsellor.
Revive can send you daily reminders and encouragements via push notifications. These notifications are:
Revive is intended for users aged 17 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 17 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction).
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with information, please contact us immediately and we will delete it promptly.
As this app is available in the European Union, we comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). As an EU resident, you have the following rights:

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy in the app, updating the "Last Updated" date, and sending a notification if required by law.

The app does not use cookies. Our analytics provider (PostHog) may use similar device-based technologies which you can control through your device settings.
